Let us introduce ourselves

Hidden in the leafy suburbs of Bulawayo, on a gorgeous, well-manicured garden, Bean There is a daily sweet escape from the busy city life.

The relaxed and serene atmosphere is ideal for hanging out with friends & having casual dates, which has made the restaurant a favourite for many since it opened its doors in 2017. Our savoury and yet affordable dishes from various cuisines have attracted people of different cultures and races, both young and old.

Live music enthusiasts will love how the restaurant comes to life with live music every Friday evening.

Our Story

How it all came to be…

The owner of Bean There dreamt of being a restaurant owner from a young age.  She broke into the food industry after high school when she opened a small restaurant called Dazzles which catered for children near the local swimming pool.

With their signature dish of loaded chips with cheese sauce and macon bits, Dazzles became briefly successful before being beat down by the recession at the time.

Armed with valuable business lessons and perseverance, she bought a bigger restaurant and has since changed it into one of the best and most popular restaurants in the City of  Bulawayo.
